Dr. Amalia Utamima is an Associate Professor at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) in Surabaya, Indonesia, where she has established herself as an expert in computational intelligence, evolutionary algorithms, agricultural robotics, optimization, and machine learning. She earned her Ph.D. in Information Systems from Curtin University, Australia, and her research focuses on applying advanced AI techniques to solve real-world agricultural challenges. Her work aims to enhance agricultural productivity, sustainability, and precision farming by optimizing crop yields, reducing resource consumption, and automating farming practices through innovative AI solutions. Dr. Utamima has published extensively in well-regarded international journals such as Computers and Electronics in Agriculture, Biosystems Engineering, and Expert Systems with Applications, gaining recognition for her contributions to AI in agriculture. In addition to her research, she serves as a reviewer for these journals, ensuring the quality of scholarly work in her field. Her ongoing research continues to push the boundaries of intelligent optimization, addressing global challenges such as food security and sustainable farming practices.
