Dr. Amalia Utamima is an Associate Professor at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) in Surabaya, Indonesia, where she has established herself as an expert in computational intelligence, evolutionary algorithms, agricultural robotics, optimization, and machine learning. She earned her Ph.D. in Information Systems from Curtin University, Australia, and her research focuses on applying advanced AI techniques to solve real-world agricultural challenges. Faizal Johan Atletiko is a highly respected academic and researcher, currently serving as a lecturer at the Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) in Surabaya, Indonesia. He received his Bachelor’s degree from the Department of Informatics at ITS in 2001 and later earned his Master’s degree (Magister Teknik) in Electrical Engineering from the Faculty of Industrial Engineering at ITS in 2012. With a strong foundation in informatics and electrical engineering, Faizal has been a dedicated member of the academic community at ITS since 2001. His primary research interests lie in the field of Information Visualization, where he focuses on creating innovative solutions for data acquisition and dissemination. He is actively involved in research at the Data Acquisition and Information Dissemination Laboratory (ADDI) within the ITS Information Systems Department, where he explores how to present complex data in intuitive and interactive ways to enhance understanding and decision-making. In addition to his research, Faizal is passionate about teaching and regularly conducts courses in Software Engineering, User Experience (UX) Design, and Mobile Programming, where he aims to inspire the next generation of tech professionals.
